Do all page numbers need to be included in the in-text citation?

When you quote directly from a source page numbers must be included.
When paraphrasing or referring to an idea contained in another work, you are encouraged to provide a page or paragraph number when it would help an interested reader locate the relevant passage in a long or complex text. If you refer to a table or diagram, you must include a page number as the reader may wish to check it.
