How do I reference the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for social work in APA (7th ed.) style?

Answer

The National Occupational Standards (NoS) for Social Work were revised in 2011.  Here is an example of how you should reference this in your assignments:

In text (First cite):
...Social Care Wales (SCW, 2011).
OR
...(Social Care Wales (SCW), 2011)

In text (Second and subsequent citations):
SCW (2011)...
OR
...(SCW, 2011).

If you are referring to a specific section of the NoS you will need to include the section number, for example:

In text (First cite):
Social Care Wales (SCW, 2011, SCDSW17)...
OR
...(Social Care Wales (SCW), 2011, SCDSW17)

In text (Second and subsequent citations):

SCW (2011, SCDSW17)...
OR
...(SCW, 2011, SCDSW17).

In the reference list:
Social Care Wales. (2011). National occupational standards for social work

or

Social Care Wales. (2011). National occupational standards for social workhttps://socialcare.wales/nos-areas/social-work
